Senior Retention Exercise for AY2019/AY2020

The information on this page is for CAPT students in their second/third year who would like to apply for senior retention in the College for one or both semesters of their third/fourth year.

To be considered for retention, you are required to complete a personal development portfolio documenting your participation and leadership in the life of the College and in its living and learning programme.

7th January 2019 to 1st February 2019, 11.59pm1. Current CAPT seniors who wish to continue to stay in CAPT for AY19/20 Sem 1 and/or Sem 2. Students going on SEP may apply for one semester, please indicate your SEP plan in the application form.

2. If you have been granted under ‘Stop-the-Clock’ to return to CAPT for one semester (Semester 1) during Year 3 and wish to stay for Semester 2, you are advised to apply in this window to extend your residency.

Application must be made through the online portal by 1 February 2019, 11.59pm

Late submissions or application in other formats will not be accepted
Please note:
One of the distinctive features of the UTown Residential Colleges is the opportunity for a deeper and broader academic experience. Members of the College who are offered a place in this exercise should continue to participate in structured academic activity during their year of residence. This may take the form of a credit-bearing module (Capstone experience, ISM, UROP, seminar module), or other Living and Learning activities such as reading groups, or an individual / group academic project approved by the College.

Step 1: Download the Application Format as a reference for preparation of your online application in step 2.

Step 2: Apply through via this portal from 7th January 2019 (MON) to 1st February 2019 (FRI), 11:59 pm. Do apply early and refrain from submitting your application at the last minute. Hard copies, late submissions, or submissions via e-mail will NOT be accepted.
