The College of Alice & Peter Tan embraces diversity and strives to achieve that. We encourage all students who are interested in the living and learning experience that residential colleges offer to submit their application.
For admissions in AY2018/2019:
Incoming Freshman: The application window for incoming students into UTCP will open from 12 March to 9 April 2018.
The first application window for incoming students into UTCP has closed on 9 April 2018 (11.59pm).
The second application window for incoming students into UTCP will open from 2 May 2018 (8.30am) to 23 May (11.59pm).
Candidates interested to gain admission to the UTown College Programme (UTCP) at the College of Alice & Peter Tan may apply here.
All candidates will be asked to submit essays as part of the application process. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Interview period for candidates applied in the first window (tentative) if you are selected: 30 Apr – 18 May 2018 (weekdays only, exclude 1, 9 – 11 May)
Interview period for candidates applied in the second window (tentative) if you are selected: 8 Jun – 18 Jun 2018 (weekdays only, exclude 15 Jun)
Before accessing the UTCP application system, please note the following:
- For incoming freshmen, admission into the UTCP at the College of Alice & Peter Tan is contingent upon your acceptance of an offer to study in NUS.
- All candidates should familiarize yourselves with the curriculum requirements here.
- You may indicate your preference for the College of Alice & Peter Tan in your application, but your eventual College placement (if selected) may be different.
- Meals are considered part of community life, and it is compulsory for all students to purchase a meal plan if admitted to the College. Please refer to our FAQ for more information.
After successful admission to the UTCP
The candidates are required to complete a room registration process at the Office of Student Affairs’ University Hostel Management System (UHMS) portal.
The UHMS portal is only available to candidates who have been offered admission to the College of Alice & Peter Tan and an NUS undergraduate programme.
