The CAPT academic programme emphasises breadth, critical thinking and an informed perspective of issues that are important to society. These courses go hand-in-hand with the College’s informal curriculum, residential programme, and student-led activities. The College consciously to weave the themes of active citizenship and community engagement throughout its formal and informal learning.

 

Seminar-Style Learning in a College Community

CAPT Junior and Senior Seminars are a hallmark of living and learning in College. They are held in small sections of around 15 students, taught by Fellows of the College. These seminar-style courses are based on 100% continuous assessment, with no final exam.

Students can expect to learn and engage through participation in class discussions, presentations, essays, group projects, field trips, quizzes and debates.
