Dr Sung-Nam (‘Namie’) Cho is Professor at the Department of Sociology, Ewha Women’s University (Korea). She served as Director of the Research Institute for Social Science at Ewha, and was Vice-President of the Korean Sociological Association and President of the Korean Population and Urban Studies Forum.
Professor Cho’s main research interests include family, population ageing, and health service utilization. She is currently conducting a research project on inter-generational integration, and her talk in the College of Alice & Peter Tan will focus on Contemporary Issues in Korean Family and Society.
