CAPT’s maiden musical production, Beauty World – CAPT Musical ’14, was held in University Cultural Centre (UCC) and it was a successful night with positive reviews from the guests and audience. Written by Michael Chiang and composed by Dick Lee, ‘Beauty World’ is a Singaporean musical that has been met with global acclaim. It is a tale set in the sixties that tells of the adventures of Ivy Chan Poh Choo, a small-town girl in a big city.
Through the impressive stage props and backdrop, coupled with exquisite costumes, brilliant singing and energetic dance numbers, the audience was transported back in time. CAPTs ‘Beauty World’ was a success, with positive reviews from both guests and audience.
