Heart2Climb Vertical Marathon

Initiated and organised by our students, CAPT raised a total of S$19,458.25 for SPD (formerly Society for the Physically Disabled) through a vertical marathon which was held at the college on 31 January 2015. A total of 124 students and staff participated in this event which raised funds for the SPD Transport Subsidy Fund which will provide door-to-door transport services to people with disabilities from low income families, fetching them to the SPD Ability Centre. In connection with the run, CAPT students also hosted SPD Day Activity Centre (DAC) clients at CAPT, visited the elderly clients at SPD@Toa Payoh on 16 and 19 January 2015 respectively and invited speakers for two Master’s Tea sessions.
