‘IN CONVERSATION’ with Ashik Ashokan – “Heart2Climb: The Journey of 2 Men”

In the summer of 2014, Ashik and Ashok, both undergraduate students, went on a journey of 220km across a Himalayan Range on foot to raise funds for the Society of the Physically Disabled. Their Himalayan task was undertaken without the aid of a team, high altitude porters or guides. In this talk, Ashik shared the struggles that the duo faced in terms of the hundreds of rejections faced for their campaign, the hostile conditions they had to brave in the Himalayas and the sense of fulfilment after completing their dream. It is a tale of brotherhood, adventure, and inspiration which is not to be missed.
