Dr May Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her research addresses social disparities in health, focusing on the improvement of the health and well-being of children and families through improved nutrition.
In this talk, Dr Wang discussed what communities can do to reduce the adverse effects of urbanization on the health and well-being of children, adults, the elderly and families.
