‘IN CONVERSATION’ with Dr Philip Iau – “Long Ride to Sweden: Two Bikes for Breast Cancer”

Dr Philip Iau started his surgical training with an interest in breast cancer. He worked as a clinical fellow in the Nottingham Breast Unit under Prof Roger Blamey, where he carried out his PhD thesis work in breast cancer genetics before returning to NUH and starting the breast cancer workgroup which he presently heads. His present focus for breast cancer is to find Asian solutions for Asian problems. Dr Iau is also a fully trained trauma surgeon.

In this talk, Dr Iau discussed how we can use our professional skills and quest for adventure to do something for the community. Dr Iau will be biking across continents on his Harley Davison bike with a quest in mind.
