‘IN CONVERSATION’ with Minister Manuel Obregón – “Culture in Costa Rica”

Minister Manuel Obregón is a Musician, composer and producer He is currently the Minister of Culture and Youth of Costa Rica.  Parallel to his musical training, Manuel Obregon also served as cultural attaché for the Costa Rican Government in Europe. Manuel Obregón is the author of more than 20 solo albums and many others as a guest musician and producer. He has concentrated his creative work over the last 10 years in Central American music and its relationship to the natural environment.

In this talk, Minister Obregón provided an overall summary of Costa Rica’s main cultural elements and manifestations, trends, and projections.
