Stephen Perkins is a Director of the Beca group, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm working throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Stephen is the Project Director for the Mechanical and Electrical engineering work for NUS University Towns’ site-wide infrastructure, four Under Graduate Residential Colleges, Graduate Residence and Stephen Riady Centre.
The presentation provided an overview of the how the mechanical and electrical services infrastructure for the campus were designed and operate to be as efficient and environmentally sustainable as possible. Topics include the campus district cooling system, water management and power conservation.
