‘IN CONVERSATION’ with Professor May Wang – “Community-based Interventions: What are they? Why are they important? How are they developed?”

Involving the community to address its needs for addressing public health and social issue is critical in designing interventions. Prof. May Wang from the Department of Community Health Sciences at UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health will share her experience working with various communities in California including Asian immigrants, and present case studies to illustrate what community-based interventions are, why they are important, and how they are developed, implemented, and evaluated.
