Mr J Y Pillay served in the Administrative Service as Permanent Secretary of various ministries, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Government Investment Corporation and as Ambassador to the UK.
Dr Matthew Sparke is Professor of Geography and International Studies, and Adjunct Professor of Global Health at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle.
