The dinner is to welcome all new and returning students (for this year, there is no returning students).
Mentors from NUSS assigned to Tembusu, Cinnamon/USP and Angsana College were introduced to their student Mentees during the welcome dinner held in Angsana College, as part of the NUSS-UTown Mentorship programme for AY12/13.

Each of the 5 neighbourhoods in Angsana teamed up and competed against one another in the inaugural Inter-Neighbourhood Games 2012 through soccer, frisbee, captain’s ball, floorball, badminton, basketball and table tennis.
Organised by the College Student Committee (CSC)’s Sports Committee, all 5 neighbourhoods in CAPT pitch against one another in a healthy competition of soccer, badminton, dragon boat, captain’s ball, frisbee, basketball, table tennis and floorball.
The inaugural NUS Inter-Collegiate Games (ICG) 2013 was held between 15th and 23rd February 2013.
CAPT welcomed visitors and prospective students for the first time during NUS Open Day 2013 which was held on 16th March.
MAROONED: CAPT Freshman Orientation Camp 2016 (19th-22nd July) welcomed the new batch of CAPTains and allowed them to interact and integrate with the existing CAPT community.

The official opening of University Town was held on 17th October 2013 and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited the College of Alice & Peter Tan to to find out about what life in a residential college has to offer.
