Preventing Domestic Violence
This Capstone project investigated the perceptions and expectations that young people in Singapore have about what constitutes abusive romantic relationships, and their awareness and receptiveness of potential solutions. Team members worked with Casa Raudha Women Home in administering an online survey and facilitating focus groups with different groups of youth in Singapore. Research findings informed Casa Raudha’s training curriculum for preventing intimate partner violence (IPV). This is a key part of the organisation’s move towards helping young people learn to develop healthy relationships.
