Ray of Hope

Over eight weeks, we interned with the partnership director at Ray of Hope (ROH), a crowdfunding charity and partner. During the course of the internship, we embarked in many different tasks from drafting presentation decks, to assisting in the planning of Corporate Social Responsibility events and thematic campaigns. This internship has helped us to gain a deeper insight and understanding of the processes and culture of a non-profit organisation that aims to be dynamic whilst working with limited resources.

Besides work, we were exposed to many different opportunities to learn and expand our perceptions on social issues. There were many thought-provoking discussions and sharings from guest speakers and our sister organization, The Majurity Trust.

During our internship, we also initiated a project called “Stories of Hope” to highlight the stories of our beneficiaries and how they have thrived beyond their situations.
