CAPTISS 2018 saw over 400 attendees throughout the day with over 60 presenters at our nine panels and poster sessions. We welcomed people from CAPT, the wider NUS community, other tertiary institutions, NGOs, government agencies and various community-based organisations from both Singapore and overseas.
In its third run, the CAPT Student Leader Action Mentorship (CAPTSLAM) saw 25 CAPTains mentoring 44 students from Tanglin Secondary School (TSS) as part of the three-month mentorship programme.
The Asian University Alliance (AUA) Forum 2018 was held in Bali from 13-16 November 2018, and was themed “Life Under Water”.

During the recent recess week, 38 CAPTains were privileged to spend an afternoon at the Kim Chuan SMRT Depot. This is the largest underground train depot in the region.
On 16 March 2019, four of us from the Deaf Exploratory Committee went down to the 47th National Athletics Championships 2019 to support the participating deaf students from Beatty Secondary School.
Community Engagement Festival (CE Fest) is CAPT's annual flagship event which aims to celebrate the uniqueness of different communities, through community engagement and relationships forged with our partners. On 22-23 March 2019, over 200 CAPTains and 160 community partners took part in 12 trails focusing on meeting, engaging and learning from the communities on the ground.
This is the 4th year that CAPT is visiting, in the 4th iteration of CAPT Kamal to Bangalore, India. From the 12 to 26 of May, a team of 23 students spent two weeks working with an NGO and a charity organisation based in Bangalore.
